Quality system
ISO 9001:2015, audited annually, with process records retained for five years. The system covers incoming material verification, in-process inspection, final inspection, calibration control and corrective action.
The five inspection gates
- Incoming mill certificate — steel grade and heat number checked against the mill certificate on arrival; non-conforming coil is quarantined.
- Weld shear test — four samples per shift, tested to at least 50% of the wire tensile strength, with the readings logged.
- Coating thickness — zinc mass by the weighing method per ISO 1461 and by magnetic gauge per ISO 2178; powder film per ISO 2808.
- Adhesion cross-cut — per ISO 2409, class 0 or 1 required on coated work.
- Final dimensional check — panel height, width, aperture and post section against the approved drawing.
Galvanising verification
Minimum coating mass is 610 g·m⁻² (approximately 70 µm) to ISO 1461 / ASTM A123. We report individual readings, not just the average, and we issue the bath record with each container. Typical recorded values are around 640 g·m⁻².
Sample retention
Retained panels from every batch are held for 24 months. That sounds like a formality until the day a 2026 delivery needs to be compared against its 2024 predecessor — then it is the whole dispute-resolution mechanism.
Third-party inspection
Buyer-nominated inspectors from SGS, Intertek, TÜV or your own QA team are welcome at the plant before loading. We provide the inspection checklist and the batch records in advance so the visit is a verification, not an investigation.
