The requirement
A large agricultural operator in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia needed a stronger perimeter fencing system for one of its remote farm sites. The farm included crop storage areas, machinery yards, livestock movement zones and private access roads, so the boundary had to do more than simply mark the property line.
The main problem was repeated boundary intrusion. Wild animals were entering crop and storage areas, and unauthorized vehicles occasionally crossed into private farm roads. The old farm fence was too light, easy to climb and difficult to maintain across such a long perimeter.
The client also needed the main perimeter secured before the next harvest season, leaving only 30 days for production, shipment coordination and staged installation support.
What we supplied
We supplied approximately 18,000 m of high-strength welded mesh security fencing for large rural perimeter protection.
The system used 3.0 m high panels with anti-climb mesh spacing, heavy-duty steel posts and V-arm extensions for razor wire installation. For high-risk areas such as equipment yards and fuel storage sections, reinforced post spacing and extra fixing points were added to improve impact resistance and long-term stability.
The full package included around 7,200 fence panels, 7,300 posts, razor wire coils, clamps, bolts and installation accessories, allowing the local contractor to install section by section without waiting for missing parts.
How it went
Production was arranged in batches to match the installation sequence, with peak daily output reaching 650 panels.
All steel components were hot-dip galvanized and polyester powder coated in black, giving the farm boundary strong corrosion resistance while keeping a clean, professional appearance across the long fence line.
Result
The complete fencing package was delivered within 28 days, and the main farm perimeter was installed in approximately 21 days by the local contractor.
The farm secured 18 km of exposed boundary before harvest season. Animal intrusion was greatly reduced, access to equipment yards became easier to control, and the site team gained a stronger, cleaner and easier-to-manage perimeter system.
