Two different mesh constructions
Chain link fence is made from interwoven wire forming a diamond pattern. Euro fence uses welded mesh in roll form. Both can be considered for boundaries, but they differ in how the mesh behaves, how it is attached and how the fence run is tensioned. Select the construction for the application before comparing prices.
Define the mesh and wire
State the mesh opening and wire diameter with units. For coated wire, distinguish the steel core diameter from the finished outside diameter. Ask for the measurement convention and tolerance. A similar photograph does not prove that two mesh rolls contain the same amount of steel.
Set the roll dimensions
Provide fence height, roll length and the total length of each run. Dingjiang’s published Euro fence options include 25 m, 30 m and 45 m roll lengths. Availability of a particular mesh, wire and height combination must be confirmed together. Do not combine individual catalogue ranges into an assumed standard product.
Include posts and connections
A complete enquiry should identify end posts, corner posts, intermediate posts, braces, ties, tension wire and gate openings as appropriate to the selected system. Describe the ground profile and attachment method. The installation design determines spacing and foundations; roll length alone does not determine post spacing.
Choose the finish and packing
Chain link options include galvanised and coated wire, while Euro fence is commonly supplied with a coloured PVC finish. Confirm the underlying wire, colour and cut-end treatment. Agree roll labelling and protection so different heights or specifications remain identifiable on site.
